Immanuel High School's new cheer director, Haley Maddox, is excited to offer our first ever open to the public Fall Youth Cheer Camp where campers will get to come learn from Immanuel’s very own, Coach Haley Maddox, assistant Coach, Bella Aleman & our 19 IHS Cheerleaders…but that’s not all! We’re taking our camp to the next level with the rare & unique opportunity for campers to take the field under the Friday Night Lights & perform during halftime of next Friday, October 17th’s IHS home football game!

What you can expect from camp: strong fundamentals in cheerleading, learning sideline cheers & half time routine, great fellowship with old & new friends, daily devotionals, fun games & a cute new tee AND a bow & moms with every paid registration! **Tee & tee sizes only guaranteed for campers registered by Thursday October 9th.

What will camp entail: Over the course of 2 camp days, campers will come learn sideline cheers & a halftime routine! Each camp day will begin in prayer and daily devotionals followed by campers learning skills & routines in both a practical application format and a fun game setting! Then we'll take our new halftime routine to the big stage!! Campers will come to the IHS football game on October 17th decked out in their new camp tee and black on bottom (think: skirt with bloomers, shorts, leggings) and with 2:00 minutes left in the 2nd quarter campers will be escorted by their families to come meet their Varsity IHS Cheerleader big sisters at the gate to the sidelines at the 50 yard line & get ready to take the field! As soon as that halftime buzzer rings the campers will storm the field with the IHS Cheerleaders & perform their halftime routine! They then will be seated down on the grass in front of the home side bench to have the best seat in the house to cheer on their IHS Varsity Cheerleaders, “The Eagle Girls.” As soon as their performance is over we'll walk our campers back onto the home side sideline & have time for photo ops with their new favorite cheerleaders. During this time parents are encouraged to take pictures of their girls with their friends & varsity sisters & then will get to return to the stands to cheer on those Eagles alongside their friends & family!

 

What if my child has no previous cheer experience: No previous cheer experience is needed & we'd love for their first experience to be with us & it be an extremely positive experience! 

 

Who will be coaching camp: Our camp will be ran by Immanuel High School's cheer director & head coach, Haley Maddox & coached by your IHS Cheerleaders! Haley brings over three decades of cheer experience starting at a very early age cheering for her local pop-warner teams, high school squads (both game squads & competition teams), an elite all-star program & continuing her cheer career through cheering on the sidelines of Fresno State games as a Fresno State dance team athlete! Haley has vast experience coaching numerous teams at varying levels as well as directing & creating youth & high school spirit programs!

CAMP DAYS::::

Wednesday, Oct 15th, Thursday Oct 16th with the performance day being Friday Oct 17th (there will be no practice on Oct 17th)

Camp Time: 3:15pm-4:15pm

Performance Time: Friday Oct 17th at the IHS Football Game halftime

Where: Immanuel Sports Complex

Cost: $75 for 2 day camp & performance + free cute shirt & bow with paid registration!

Shirt sizes are only guaranteed if registered by October 8th.
